After successful launch of eActros last year, Mercedes is silently working on adding more variants to the highly successful eActros. Mercedes Benz has been working on improving the range of the trucks to almost 500 kms on single charge and as we read, almost 40 prototypes are undergoing internal tests. If everything goes as per the schedule, then these trucks should be ready to be launched by 2024. The goal of Mercedes Benz Trucks is to increase the share of CO2- neutral vehicles in Europe to more than 50% by 2030.
BMW may have joined the electric party late, but then they have joined in style, with BMW i4 bought in as complete CBU. Dare we say electric cars are getting sexier by the day.
Apart from an output of 340 HP, and a 0-100 in 5.7 seconds, the i4 has range topping claimed driving range of 590 kms and with an introductory offer of complimentary wall mounted charger unit.
