Range Rover has recently added a new Bronze Collection Special Edition to their Evoque segment which features tailor-made design elements inside and out along with the latest PiVi infotainment. The new Evoque P300 HST brings a new look to the compact member of the Range Rover family. The Evoque Bronze Collection Special Edition is available with a variety of powerful and efficient powertrains, while the Evoque P300 HST, inspired by the Range Rover Sport HST, is available with Land Rover’s potent P300 Ingenium petrol engine.
The Range Rover Evoque Bronze Collection Special Edition
The new Bronze Collection Special Edition enhances the Range Rover Evoque’s “sophisticated” design and luxurious interior, based on the Evoque S specification. The Corinthian Bronze contrast roof, Burnished Copper side vents and the new Satin Dark Grey 20-inch five split-spoke alloy wheels come as standard along with three exterior color options – Carpathian Grey, Santorini Black and Seoul Pearl Silver. On the interior we have, Natural Grey Ash veneers, unique Bronze Collection carpet mats with metal-capped corners and Ebony grained leather seats. A sliding Panoramic roof enhances the cabin, while the LED headlights with Daylight Running Lights and animated indicators enhances the exterior.
The Bronze Collection Special Edition is available with next-gen Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. The efficient D165, D200, P200 AND P250 all of which have advanced 48-volt Mild Hybrid Electrical Vehicle (MHEV) technology. Available as an option is the P300e Plug-in Hybrid Electrical Vehicle (PHEV) powertrain, which combines a 1,5-litre Ingenium three-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor that is said to provide lesser carbon emissions (44g/km of CO2) and a driving range of 55 km and a fuel economy of about 2.0L per 100km. The PHEV’s SAVE mode has been improved to recharge more effectively on the move when battery charge is being saved at a steady 100kmph, up to 80% battery charge can be attained in just 90 minutes.
New Range Rover Evoque P300 HST
Powered by the 300hp 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine, the new Range Rover Evoque P300 HST brings a new edge to Land Rover's compact SUV. Inspired by the Range Rover Sport HST’s sneaky look, the new edition is based on the Evoque R-Dynamic S and possesses a peculiar combination of interior and exterior upgrades. Regardless of the 11 exterior color options, they also provide the Black Pack, which comprises of Gloss Black Range Rover sliding Panoramic roof, side vents, bonnet louvres, door mirror caps and other accents. A gloss black 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers come as standard.
Two 10-inch screens come fitted in the center console as standard, with one controlling the infotainment features and the other for adjusting the driving modes and climate-control settings and a 13-speaker 400W Meridian sound system. The P300 HST is said to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds.
Land Rover has announced that the Range Rover Evoque Bronze Collection Special Edition is now available in the UK with prices starting from £32,115 (Rs 33.14 lakh) whereas the new Evoque P300 HST version is priced from £50,440 (Rs 52.06 lakh).
